cocktail guardian is an innovative new spirit we designed to be flavourless. it forces bartenders to ensure every cocktail made with it can also be made without alcohol – and so, every cocktail within has a non-alcoholic option. cocktail guardian is designed to be boozy, so we can use less of it to achieve a full-strength cocktail, leaving more opportunity for flavour. it's designed with enhancers to accentuate existing flavours and texturise the cocktail at the same time. this is menu 02 – GUARDIANS OF THE COCKTAIL...

our event space is used for in house events such as our fringe shows and our monthly hip hop open mic night. surrounded on two sides by curtains, the room is able to be adjusted to fit a smaller gathering or something bigger.

Heard music filtering up from underground (literally) and followed the sound into Cold Chisel Alley to find the coolest /artiest/funkiest little cocktail bar I’ve been in for years. By happy coincidence it was ‘Hip Hop Open Mic Night’ (last Wed of each month). Cosy chic place with a great crowd, fabulous band and intimate energy. Cocktails were delicious. Spent a couple of hours enjoying guys and gals passing the mic around and busting rhymes. Felt like everyone knew each other and we were among friends. I’ve already put it my calendar for next month. Highly recommended!

This is a great concept. A bar that deliberately has a small amount of seats so that everyone gets great attention! The cocktails were delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming. I love that you can draw on a coaster and then those become the drink coasters - a very personal touch.
